We are looking for an ambitious individual to join our customer service and operations team in our ORD (Bensenville, IL) office. The ideal candidate will have export freight forwarding experience. |
Duties: |
| Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Processing air and ocean export documentation
• Complete AES filings
• Performing compliance checks
• Prepare pre-alerts for overseas agents
• Assembling documentation packs for clients
• Communicating with customers regarding shipments
• Booking of shipments with vendors
• Confirming movement (track and trace)
• Issuing of our invoice |
Qualifications: |
| • Fanatical customer service and communication skills
• High attention to detail
• Ability to prioritize and manage time
• Capable of understanding and following customer specific instructions
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Detailed organization capabilities and a desire and ability to follow projects through to completion
• The ability to care for our customers and take positive actions for their benefit
• Basic knowledge of geography
• Bachelor degree preferred
• Secondary languages rewarded
• Industry certifications rewarded (i.e. HAZMAT, CCS)
• Clear TSA Security Threat Assessment -- mandatory |
