| Time Out Chicago, a leading arts and entertainment magazine, is currently looking for organized, pop-culture minded writers who can think on their feet and keep up with the pace of a weekly magazine. |
Duties: |
•Fact-checking stories and listings
•Tracking down photos
•Cataloging
•Picking up and returning merchandise used for stories
•Transcribing taped interviews
•Assisting section editors as needed

Qualifications: |
Interns should have writing experience and should expect to receive a minimum of one byline in the magazine during their internship with us. Writers who suggest story ideas and prove they have the ability to execute them will be given more opportunities to write for the magazine. Interns will work closely with various editors and be given an opportunity to sit in on features meetings to enhance the educational portion of their work.

Time Out Chicago internships are only available for academic credit. Please check with your university/college for their rules and regulations on receiving academic credit. You must provide proof from your university/college that you are receiving credit for the internship.
