Description:

The Lead Sales Associate is responsible for maintaining outstanding customer service as per Company standards, generating sales, merchandising, and safeguarding company assets.

Duties:

·Ensure that each customer receives outstanding service by providing a friendly environment, which includes greeting and acknowledging every customer, maintaining solid product knowledge and all other aspects of customer service.
·Maintain an awareness of all promotions and advertisements.
·Assist in floor moves, merchandising, display maintenance, and housekeeping
·Assist in processing and replenishing merchandise and monitoring floor stock.
·Aid customers in locating merchandise.
·Assist in completing price changes within the department.
·Participate in year-end inventory and cycle counts.
·Maintain knowledge of current sales and promotions, policies regarding payment and exchanges, and security practices.
·Compute sales prices, total purchases and receive and process cash or credit payment.
·Watch for and recognize security risks and thefts, and know how to prevent or handle these situations.
·Recommend, select, and help locate or obtain merchandise based on customer needs and desires.
·Answer questions regarding the store and its merchandise.
·Describe merchandise and explain use, operation, and care of merchandise to customers.
·Ticket, arrange and display merchandise to promote sales.
·Communicate customer requests to management.
·Negotiates terms of sale and services with customer.
·Assist in ringing up sales at registers and/or bagging merchandise.
·Any other tasks as assigned from time to time by any manager.

Qualifications:

·Retail electronics and/or technology experience a plus.
·HS diploma or GED required.
·Ability to operate all equipment necessary to perform the job.
·Ability to communicate with associates and customers.
·Ability to read, count, and write to accurately complete all documentation
·Strong problem solving skills.
·Proven ability to be a team player.
·Must be results driven with the motivation in meeting the customer’s needs.
·Able to lift 50 pounds – ladder climbing required.
·Ability to work under pressure in a fast paced environment.
·Be able to work a flexible schedule
