We operate a large fleet of Owner Operators covering all 48 states
With the increase in Freight availability we are looking to add a driver recruiter to our staff |
Duties: |
• Respond to an act on various leads and sell driving opportunities by telephone and in person.
• Work Truck Stops and other places where drivers gather, selling the U.S. Freightways program face to face
• Present the U.S Freightways contractor program in a professional and knowledgeable manor.
• Qualify drivers in accordance with U.S. Freightways hiring standards.
• Prospect for leads of your own through various sources. Place flyers and cards both in businesses and on trucks
• Take driver applications and start the driver on the approval process.
• Make offers to prospective owner operators.
• Maintain company database of drivers.
• Work with management on continuous training and improvement.
• Maintain hiring minimums and strive to reach company goals.

Qualifications: |
• college degree
• experience in recruiting, sales, telemarketing, or transportation
• Effective interpersonal communication skills, both oral and written
• Pleasant but assertive telephone personality. The ability to control the conversation.
• Very strong computer skills and knowledge of the internet
• Strong sales skills
• Desire to make above average income
