INTRODUCTION: This document establishes and describes the function, authority reporting relationships, responsibilities, duties, and performance criteria of the Semiconductor Sales Engineer for Precision Polymer Engineering Limited. FUNCTIONAL ROLE The primary function of the Sales Engineer is to develop new sales and service existing customers while establishing strategic customer relationships that will facilitate growth toward sales goals and objectives established by the Company. This position can be located anywhere in the Midwest. We are looking for someone to nuture and grow the existing client base as well as develop new business leads. In addition, the Sales Engineer is to professionally represent the design capabilities, materials capability and manufacturing capabilities of the company to its customers and perspective customers. REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS: -The Sales Engineer reports to the USA Country Manager. -The Sales Engineer closely works with the UK based Strategic Business Development team on business development activities -The Sales Engineer liaises with manufacturing, quality, materials product support and technical departments to maximise effectiveness of winning and introducing new business. |
