As a SQL Developer, you will be designing/maintaining SQL stored procedures and queries to support the data operations process at Sg2. You will be using SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS) as well as ETL packages within SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS). You will be working closely with the operations and development teams to maintain information integrity, support data model and architecture, create supporting scripts and stored procedures, and support or automate processes by which data enters these systems.

Duties: |
 Participate in the design, development, implementation and execution of ETL processes to extract, transform and load data from clients
 Write ad-hoc queries and stored procedures to assist with data investigation and quality assurance in support of high-quality production ETL processes
 Create and maintain queries and stored procedures for database access, creation, verification and modification
 Create and maintain database library and data flow diagrams, document data acquisition and conversion processes.

Qualifications: |
We are seeking highly motivated individuals with a consistent record of academic excellence, personal achievement and leadership. Creativity, initiative, resourcefulness and an entrepreneurial spirit are a must.
 Microsoft SQL Server 2005, including Integration Services (SSIS)
 Solid understanding of ETL process architecture and understanding of data integration techniques
 Experience working with hospital clinical and billing information in a decision support capacity strongly preferred
 Ability to interpret healthcare information from a business and clinical perspective is a plus.
 SQL Server Performance Tuning and Query Optimization experience
 Expert level mastery of Transact SQL
 Database Modeling, Normalization Concepts
 Bachelors Degree
 SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) experience and .NET experience is a plus
 2 years of experience, 1 in a data-intensive capacity
 Excellent verbal and written communication skills
 Ability to work in a fast paced environment with multiple concurrent projects
